Clutter is used everywhere today. Clutter is words or phrases that are unnecessary. It is used a lot to hide mistakes and it makes things harder to understand. It confuses people because they don´t know what clutter is and how to get rid of it. This is a problem in todays society because many people have a hard time trying to declutter passages to figure out what is actually trying to be said.
Some common clutter words are this, that, or, for, is, so, and in. When writing it is difficult not to use these words. I struggled with not using those words and eliminating other clutter phrases. Now that I have had more practice and have learned about clutter I will continue to try and write without it. I think my writing will improve drastically because it will become easy to understand and more straight to the point.
